New Combat System

In our system, combat is designed to prioritize player agency, tactical depth, and dynamic interactions between attackers and defenders. While many systems rely on "static defenses" (like fixed armor ratings) to resolve attacks, our combat system introduces active defense rolls, allowing defenders to choose how they respond to incoming threats. Players can react strategically by rolling to Evade, Brace, or Distract, each with its own benefits and risks. This means that every attack in our system is more than a simple roll to hit—it’s a dynamic exchange where both parties influence the outcome.

Additionally, our Action Economy gives players four Action Points per turn, enabling creative combinations of attacks, movement, and ability usage, rather than locking them into a single major action. Combined with Temporary Hit Points for armor and spells, flexible positional play (with or without a map), and a focus on environmental storytelling, our combat encounters deliver a blend of strategy and roleplay.
 

Ultimately, while other systems often emphasize more traditional approaches to turn-based combat, our system enhances tactical depth and player freedom, creating a unique experience that’s both engaging and highly interactive.

 Intellegence Based Classes

The Luminary is a champion of science, technology, and innovation, leveraging their profound expertise to reshape the world through groundbreaking discoveries and technological progress. In a realm where the fusion of magic and technology reigns, the Luminary stands out by ardently adhering to a rigorous scientific approach, eschewing the use of magic in their practice. They epitomize intellectual brilliance, problem-solving prowess, and technical acumen, constantly pushing the boundaries of what's achievable. Through meticulous experimentation, empirical evidence, and logical reasoning, they seek to unveil the world's mysteries, unraveling its secrets through the lens of scientific principles.

Attunement Rework

There are now 3 distinct, yet similar, systems to govern the types of Gear. - Arcane Bonding: This is used for magical gear. You will need to ‘Bond’with this equipment to use it.
- Tuned Gear: This is used for non-magical gear of higher Grades. You will need to ‘Learn’ how to use this gear to equip it.
- Cybernetic Gear: Wetware and Shardware. The limiters for use have been revamped. Each character now has a ‘Chrome Capacity’ governed by their Fortitude, Reflex and Will
