The Tetorlaious
“No tale is told without her name whispered in fear or reverence.”
Tetorlaious is not part of the three realms. It is the wound that appeared between them—a fourth existence that the other tried to seal away. Some say it is the creator of the Material Worlds, others claim it was born from the imbalance between them. Where it resides, even death forgets itself.
Kalabel’s Law
“The Gate Opens Once.”
This is a teaching passed through Arcanist Circles and Oracular Guilds alike. It suggests that travel between realms is possible, but dangerous—and only with proper resonance. Once a portal is opened by one’s Will, it cannot be reopened in the same way.
Mystics debate the meaning. Some say it refers to magical limitations. Others believe it is a warning: no crossing of realms is ever clean.
Cultural Interpretations
The Knighthoods call the Material Plane the "Veiled Ring," believing it a proving ground. The Ohrosian faiths claim the three rings were crafted in harmony before betrayal fractured them. The Technarchs of SEDA propose the realms are overlapping data fields in an ancient, self-editing archive. The Yasei claim the Ethereal Drift is their true origin—life birthed from dream. Each belief system clings to part of the truth. But none claim to know the whole.
